Where it all started
The Chanakya Italia embroidery factory has its roots in India, thanks to Chanakya International, founded in 1986 in Mumbai. Chanakya International was born to bring back to life the ancient heritage of hand-made embroidery, protecting and encouraging the magic of this precious craftsmanship. The company is grown over the years, integrating all the know-how given by the Made in Italy. Today it collaborates with the fashion brands most well-known worldwide and with many famous designers, conquered by their creative mood and communication skills of embroidery.
The spaces of Chanakya Italia are located inside the Chanakya International showroom in Bologna.
